Ruby’s Roadside Grill

Ruby’s is a brand new restaurant in Seaside, Oregon. In addition to classic burgers, shakes, and fries, customers enjoy signature items such as flash fried brussel sprouts, breakfast burritos, barbecue shrimp tacos and more, plus Oregon wines and micro brews.

Brand Identity. The client wanted a logo that communicates a fun and welcoming personality for Ruby’s, while also paying homage to the dog for who it’s named. We designed artwork that combined a playful font with a simple, earnest dog graphic that communicates friendliness and approachability. We added a napkin to playfully pay off dining. The logo has been very popular with customers, evidenced by their purchase of hats, shirts, and glasses that bear it.

Website. We wanted Ruby’s website to be welcoming, easthetically pleasing, and easy to navigate. Visually, we anchored it with the Ruby’s logo and some colorful food imagery. We then added a warm introductory message. And for ease of use by visitors, we presented a scrolling menu.
